EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION

Position: Executive Director Start Date: January 1, 2011
Pensacola Children’s Chorus seeks experienced management professional and administrator for nonprofit organization. Applicant must have 4-year degree or equivalent, strong organizational and strategic planning skills, ability to recruit, retain volunteers, supervise staff, and have experience working with children’s choruses and/or children’s arts programs. Must have knowledge of music and the fine arts and experience with professional level complex stage productions. Must have strong written and verbal skills, which include the ability to communicate effectively with parents, volunteers and children ages 8 to 18. Grant writing, fundraising, public speaking experience, and budget/accounting control skills are required. Experience planning performance event opportunities locally, nationally and internationally would be an asset. Must be able to multitask and work effectively in a high pressure environment. A minimum 2 years executive director or upper level management experience is required. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, reporting to the Board of Directors.
